Can I split a dose of FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs between my dog and cat?
No. FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs and FRONTLINE TRITAK For Cats are different products that contain different active ingredients and should only be used as intended. Remember to use FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs on dogs only—the ingredients could be harmful to cats. And use FRONTLINE TRITAK For Cats on cats only.
How does FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs spread over a dog's body?
FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs spreads over a dog's body through a process called translocation. When applied, this product is quickly dispersed onto the dog's skin, collecting in the oil glands in the skin. It is then "wicked" onto the hair over the next 30 days, killing fleas as they come into contact.
Do fleas and ticks have to bite my pet for FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs to work?

The fleas you see most likely started as flea eggs that were deposited in the environment before you began using FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs. Consecutive monthly applications of FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs will assist with the elimination of an indoor flea life cycle by quickly killing any adult fleas that jump on your dog. In some geographical regions in the United States, it may be necessary to use the product year-round.

FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs does not carry an expiration date. We recommend storing FRONTLINE TRITAK For Dogs at room temperature and keeping the doses sealed in their original packaging.
How long after application can my dog be bathed or go swimming?

If symptoms persist talk to a veterinarian. Cats exhibiting these same symptoms from ingestion should be taken to the veterinarian immediately.
